CEO and Co-Founder, Yard Stick
Tolles started Yard Stick in 2020, seeking to provide easy, accurate, and affordable quantification of soil carbon stocks to ultimately help climate change by enabling gigaton-scale agricultural carbon sequestration via scalable, trustworthy measurement solutions.
Until 2020, Tolles was the CEO and Co-Founder of Sundaily. A company that made skincare gummies based on peer-reviewed, published, human clinical data. Sundaily was later acquired by Grove Collaborative in June 2020.
Tolles is also a mentor and advisor for a variety of startups in the Boston area, focusing on underrepresented founder communities.
He is formally trained as a designer with a degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and has an MBA from the Questrom School of Business.
