Christian Hofer is a Senior Director with Sol Systems' Environmental Commodities Management business. Sol Systems is an innovative solar energy project developer and financier that offers its customers a diverse array of sustainability solutions including on-site / off-site project development, PPA / REC procurement, and renewable energy investment products. Christian also serves as Vice Chair on the Board of the Environmental Markets Association (EMA) and leads their Market Principles Committee. EMA is a 25-year old industry trade association with a mission to promote open, competitive, and tradeable environmental commodity markets and market-based solutions as a long-term, sustainable solution to solve environmental challenges. Christian has been transacting in North American Environmental Markets for the past dozen years and is passionate about the intersection of commodity markets and infrastructure finance in furthering sustianable economic development.
