Jasmine Qin

Jasmine Yiyuan Qin is the Co-Founder of re+connect, a civic technology platform that closes last-mile gaps in disaster relief through collective action and crowdsourced community data. With over a decade of experience in climate resilience, natural resource management, and digital development, she integrates research, data, and collaborative design to address disaster recovery challenges. Jasmine holds degrees in environmental science and management, as well as integrated design, engineering, and management from Colby College, Yale, and MIT. She has lived and worked alongside communities across continents to advance equitable, community-driven visions and solutions. Her work focuses on shifting power to enable communities with the tools and networks needed to build a more connected and resilient future.
